1. We'll play all standards - country standards in this case... I have a BIG book of number charts, and a BIGGER book of lyrics.

2. I ask vocalist to sing one of the suggested tunes so we don't wind up struggling through obscure tunes that nobody knows, and therefore are not fun to jam on. If someone wants to do a tune that I don't have, but should have, I'll write up a chart, get the lyrics and add it to the book next time. That way, the book grows over time.

3. Everyone should bring his or her own instrument -- I love to jam, but I really don't like to share my geetar -- it's a very personal item! On the other hand, there will be guitar and bass amps, a snare drum, PA, mics, and T has indicated he'll share his piano (he's a much more generous guy than I, I guess.)

4. I'll play the entire evening, call solos, help direct the band, and keep the tunes flowing. Other than that, how long you play depends upon how many folks show up for that instrument.

5. The jam will be INSIDE  or on the patio.

6. This is a LOW VOLUME thing... seriously... small amps, small PA, brushes, etc. and hopefully everyone understands if I occasionally ask someone to lower the level... believe me, keeping it quiet makes it LOTS more fun for everyone.
